For eating..Not swimming...lol....I'm not a huge fishy person, but I do love shellfish..If that makes sense...I once had this shellfish platter in the north of Scotland ..It had lobster, crab, langoustines, mussels, oysters, etc..It was awesome and it should be at 80 dollars a whip.. eek

And now I'm hungry for lobster. Watchmaker, you're killin' me! laugh

I'd probably try the butter poached just because I've only eve had lobster steamed or boiled. And I'm going to dip it in butter anyway. It saves a step. Plus, cracking a lobster neatly at the table is not an easy task. If you order it butter poached, I feel like you have a better chance of them shelling it for you. biggrin

Cheers for that...Yeh the first time I ever ordered it was at a seafood restaurant on the island of Rhodes..It arrived at my table along with this huge nutcracker implement ... eek ...The waiter saw me staring at it, came across and smiled and asked if he could help...You bet...So he split it perfectly for me..Phew!....

Yeah that is how I feel. I always have this urge to liberate the lobsters at the grocery store.

I would go with butter poached lobster, and Nikki Mouse, I agree, I would love to liberate Innocent the lobsters from the supermarket into my shopping cart, and into the butter poached mixture awesome

Ken had the surf & turf when we ate here in April. He got the butter poached lobster and loved it - and don't worry, it's a lobster tail that comes out of the shell very easily.

Oh, yes... I don't like wresting with lobster shells to get to the good stuff. As Jan said, the meal was great and easy to eat which made me very Smile

If you like lobster, you'll like this meal.

Yes it is quite delicious! My picture is from May of 2014, so they changed it up some, but not much.
