It is only a small bottle, you can get two for PS20

Cheers Mikki..Since it's free drink this year ( excluding bubbly ) we will settle for that..Typical Scotsmen answer.. awesome

Also on a slightly different tangent has anybody used the downtown Disney bag drop for Virgin before? if so any info anybody has would be great as we are thinking of using it!!!

we know if you are a flight only passenger its $10 per person or free with a package holiday

what I would like to know is how close would a taxi drop you off to it and do you need to take all hand baggage with you?????

Thanks!!!

If you are staying at a Disney resort, I cannot see any point in doing this. You can leave your cases with the concierge at your hotel free of charge until you get on the magical express. Check out is normally 11am and transfers to the airport around 3pm. So we get our bags out of storage around 2.30pm so we can get changed and repack slightly. You have that chance to put last minute shopping or used clothing/swimwear in your cases before going to the airport.

Exactly what we do..I find this no problem...However, have you ever tried to keep your room, say until 2.00pm..?..I was going to ask this year as our flight isn't till 8.30pm so I'am guessing a 4.30 pick up.?

We do it because I hate the long queue at check in and we get the seats we want as we cannot do online check in. We like to turn up at the airport and go straight to security, much less stressful.

Exactly the reason we do it as well.it helps that we are not tied to the magical express.

We have requested late check out every time and never managed to get it, even off season. However my sister requested it when she checked in and they let her keep her room until 1pm.

Also, whatever time Magical Express we are allocated we see the concierge to change our ME reservation and go an hour earlier. I have never experienced queues at check in like Sally Ann mentioned, maybe because we are premium economy or maybe because we go early to the airport.

The main reason we are thinking of doing this is because we have 2 large cases, 2 large holdalls, 2 little cases and 2 handbags between us and last year we travelled with British airways and had the same amount of luggage and to be honest I was stressed out that they would miss one of my cases on ME then trying to manoeuvre all the bags up to check in and moving the bags to the front of the queue it was all just really stressful, whereas with the DD check in we load the stuff into a cab, get the stuff out of the cab and then I don't have to think about them until I get to Manchester

Plus if we did that and with checking in online 24hrs before travel we don't have to be at the airport so early so we could change out ME time to the slightly later one

Wow! eek That's serious luggage for two people..You must be taking home lots of pixie dust..LOL..Must admit in the past we always packed wayyyyyy too much..But after 5 trips, I think we have it down to a tee...3 medium size cases..and 2 flight holdalls...That's for 3 of us..And believe me, our cases are half empty..For myself i pack..2 pair of swim shorts..6 dress t shirts..2 casual t shirts ( to wear with my swim shorts ) 2 dress shirts..4 pair of 3/4 length shorts..1 pair of dress 3/4 length shorts..flip flops..and my Disney poncho...That's about it..My DW has my super Gok wan decisions on her case..LOL..

Well Watchmaker its not exactly what we take its what we bring back!!!! the 2 holdalls are folded and in the big cases for travelling there then they are filled coming back however i have to say for clothes my wardrobe looks like

9 nighttime outfits (including MNSSHP costume)
3 day/night dresses
2 playsuits
13 day tops
5 pairs of shorts
various swimwear combinations
millions of pairs of shoes (honestly have lost count!)

and that just MY stuff that's not including my mam's stuff!!!

we also had a full blown fashion show for the most part of yesterday deciding what is making the final cut!!!!

are you starting to understand the need for all the cases?!

Yes..It's all down to cattle..If your a Guernsey moo you get the rear of the upper class..If your a Jersey moo, your in the middle, but if your a Highland moo, you get front upper class next to the galley as the Scottish cattle tend to drink more.. waiting

Well done! Upper deck is the way to go, so I've heard, if you'd like to fly PE but don't want to pay PE prices!

Me neither, and although I've flown enough miles to get me to the moon and back, I still can't stand take offs, hence my doctor recommends a medication of cognac on the rocks.. wink
