Can you pay to stay in the Castle?

I read that the suite in the castle will be used for VIPs and contests, but there must be a way you can pay to stay there, right? Just wondering, so that I can add it to my must do list once I win the lottery.

I think the party line is that you can't get it for money, only as a promotion, but I'm sure that anything is possible with Disney Magic.

Disney has a machine that turns money into pixie dust. the more you put in the more you get out. I bet that room would take a LOT of pixie dust.

I kept trying to peek into windows of the castle or see people moving around in there from our Contemporary room! (Fruitless, of course) And also checkout out how many windows were lit.

Sigh.

I don't think anyone around here is going to be able to throw any stones. More like nod approvingly.

Speaking of turning moolah into pixie dust, I blogged last night about them remodeling the $2500 a night Newport Presidential Suite at the Beach Club.

As for those of us at WDWFG, let us eat cake!

Just checked that out! Unbelieveable.

How much is the most expensive room on property?

Don't know, but that has to be right up there. I know just a few years ago you could stay on the top Concierge floor of the Contemporary for about $1100 and THOSE were nice rooms! Can't imagine a hotel room worth $2500 a night.

I'm trying to think of how a room could justify $2,500 a night. I almost think the exactly opposite. I'd STAY just about anywhere for $2,500. I could sleep on the streets for a couple of nights at $2,500/night. I can't imagine leaving Disney World after a few night and being $10,000 less rich with nothing to show for it. I suppose at the same time there are people who would say the same thing about me spending $150/night so I guess it's all relative.
