I'll admit I have never been a huge Cars girl..that was until recently when my two year old cannot get enough of McQueen (he sleeps with his McQueen car). I have a vague memory of McQueen and Mater being in the parks somewhere once upon a time. Is that still true? Are they in a parade or have a meet and greet somewhere?

Lightning McQeen is part of the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show. Mater is shown during the show on a video screen. There is an area around there where you can take your picture with them.

Last year they had this as you enter world showcase which my kids loved seeing. My son is a huge cars fan also.

Yes, we met them at Hollywood Studios, my son loved them!
I'm pretty sure they are right by the exit of Muppet Vision at HS. ...I may be wrong though. I just remember the line to see them wasn't long.
