Celebration of 25 Magical Years of Disney on Broadway

Tonight Broadway cares/Equity Fights AIDs live streamed the 25 year celebration of Disney on Broadway that they put on in November. It was wonderful. It was two hours of Disney songs sung by the most prominent performers that Broadway has to offer. It was hosted by Ryan McCartan (Frozen along with Liv and Maddie) who also video chatted with many of the performers throughout the night to see how they were doing, ask about what that night meant to them and just general chit chat. If you missed it, it should be available on youtube for the 48 hours or so.

Did you watch? If you did watch, what was your favorite moment(Drunk?

I did watch and I'm not sure if I could chose one moment because they are very good. Although I will say Ashley Brown singing the song from Freaky Friday was a little funny with what she did before she sang.

I also had Olaf and Sven join me along with having my Aladdin blankie nearby for comfort.

Also I saw Jim Abbott on the piano for the whole night which was pretty cool because I had no idea he gets borrowed from Broadway to help out at Epcot. Jim Abbott is the guy who puts the Disney on Broadway Concert Series at Epcot's Festival of the Arts together for everyone to enjoy.

That sounds so awesome! I did not watch. I've been a bit in my head lately.

It was really neat and I'm glad that they got all unions in on it together because there was the musicians association that had problem with the live stream and it was originally cancelled but somehow they go the musicians association on board. It was something about pay for it being broadcasted again but everyone was like no, we don't care about being paid a second time for this, we just want to bring joy in these uncertain times.
