Celebration Dinner. Where would you eat?

We'll be going to WDW for 10 days this year and will be there either for my birthday or our wedding anniversary (still working on the details). We'll be on the Deluxe Dining Plan. We'll definitely be booking ADRs for Yachtsman Steakhouse and California Grill. Artist Point and Flying Fish are possibilities. But, which one would you choose for the Celebration Dinner date? Or would you choose another (not V&A)? Aaaaaand GO!

If it were my birthday and I had the DDP, I would either choose Yachstman for the awesome steak, or Yak and Yeti because it's my favorite restaurant period, and I'm a fairly simple food guy.

If it we our anniversary, I'd be less selfish and probably hit up the Cali Grill for atmosphere and wider choice of food for both of us.

Of course, lunch would be at Cosmic Rays......

I have a birthday on our upcoming trip and an anniversary. I think for the aniversary dinner we are going to the California Grill and we will be at Chefs de France on my actual birthday. But the Cali grill is really nice.

I have always wanted to do V&A, so if money is no object I think you should totally go for it.
Otherwise, I personally would book California Grill for the celebratory dinner and take a seating about an hour before fireworks.

I'm a huge fan of the California Grill for special occasions, oh and Narcossee's at the Grand Floridian. The food is AWESOME!

Narcoossee's, Yachtsman, or Cali grill. All are amazing food and service. Cali grill has the best view by far. Narcoossee's has the best seafood and Yachtsman has the best steak. So maybe you should go to all three!

Cali Grill hands down. It's my dream to do V&A some day, but if you're on the deluxe DP you're going to have a lot of points to use up so I'd go with Cali.

This is a tricky one for me as both myself and my DW don't normally do "fine" dining.
I think we would forgo the dining option and (if we were paying oop) would try and book something special like a fireworks cruise instead.
if push came to shove and we were using points on a dining plan then one of the AKL restaraunts would be our choice although which one would boil down to the menu options.

Your possible nominations all sound great and you really can't go wrong with anyone of them. By the looks of it, you've already confirmed Yachtsmans and Cali Grill. As for Artist Point or Flying Fish Cafe, well, if you love salmon, Artist Point wins and if you plans for the MK that night, Artist Point tops in terms of location. Though Flying Fish has more variety of seafood and more beef options and is better off if you plans at Epcot or the Studios later that night.

As for me, if I could only pick one for a celebration dinner, it would be a toss-up between Yachtsman or Cali Grill.

My most romantic meal last trip was at BOG. The west wing was an excellent setting not to mention the food and service.
