Character Dining and Dinner Show Recommendations

Which Character dining experience was your favorite? Which dinner show was your favorite?

I have never done either and would like to try one or both this time... What are your recommendations?

I haven't done any of the dinner shows. My favorite character dining is breakfast at Tusker House.

Character dining- Ankerhus for the princesses, we actually liked this better than CRT even though Cinderella does not make an appearance. Crystal Palace is also good for Winnie The Pooh and friends. Smile
Dinner Show- Always Hoop de doo. We plan for it everytime and it is the best!

I love the Crystal Palace with Pooh & friends. Food is good too for all meals. Second choice is 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella, step sisters- they are a hoot!- lady Tremaine,Alice & Mad Hatter. Also, I have seen Mary Poppins & Goofy in the entrance or outside area.
No recommended: Chef Mickeys. Too many kids at the buffet unattended - yuk. Very loud.
The hoop dee do is okay. I makes me think of HeeHaw with all the corniness of it. Food- just okay.

My favorite Character Buffet Breakfast is Cape May Cafe.

Minnie Mouse, Donald and Goofy are the Characters that I've seen. The food is fantastic, it's a little nicer and more flavorful than what you get at Chef Mickey's. The service is pretty good and I never feel rushed. There also seem to be fewer kids running around at this one, so if you want a Character Breakfast without the chaos that is Chef Mickeys, this is the place for you!

My pick for character breakfast would be Cape May Cafe. The food is good and it really is far more relaxed than most of the others. My pick for a dinner show is Spirit of Aloha.

We have to go to see Stitch every visit so that is Ohana. I however prefer 1900 Parc Fare for breakfast.

I've also never done either of them but for our trip in November we are doing two character meals. Tusker House for lunch and Garden Grill for dinner. It's good to hear Tusker House getting good reviews awesome

Crystal Palace is ALWAYS a must do on every trip--and we are 2 "older" adults!! It is only 1 table service credit and you get Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet. The food has always been very good--the multi-grain rolls are out of this world (the cranberries are the secret!)
