Check out Disney's New Check-in Procedures

The DFB is breaking down check-in procedures for the re-opening of Walt Disney World Resorts. Take a lot and let me know what you think! Does this change anything for you or were you already a direct to room user?

I always do online check-in. Most of the time, my room is ready and I go straight there. If I don't get the text that my room is ready when I arrive, I'll stop at the front desk to get an idea of when it will be ready.

I am trying to do online check-in for September. It's not going so well.... It's been like this for about 20 minutes.

I gave up after an hour of it loading. I was able to check in via the app.

I usually do online check-in as well but my room is never ready when I get there so I generally check-in at the front desk anyway. I have always been a fan of full service (I also spent several years as a hotel front desk manager) and in some way it feels to me like all of the new technology takes away from part of the experience. At the same time, it's proving useful during this pandemic where we need to keep socially distant from each other.
