Anyone seen the British Comedy BlackAdder that starred Rowan Atkinson. In the final series set around WW1 they had a Captain Darling who name was a constant source of laughs.

I thought the WWI part was the best one, but they show that one all the time. I never see the other ones anymore! Rowan Atkinson is such an unusual talent.
