A Clever Castmember - 13 minute wait time for Ride

I was scanning the ride wait times Friday night on the Disney app when I saw a strange wait time for a particular ride. I had to do a double take, to make sure I was seeing it right.. I even passed the phone to my kids to ensure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing... Sure enough, some clever cast member seized the moment and decided to put in a fun and appropriate ride wait time for Tower of Terror.. I thought it was clever... BTW, the ride times on Friday were down right mind blowing.. It was as if one family and their friends were the only ones in the park. I bet everyone in the parks that day got in all the rides they wanted and then some.. 20 minutes was the longest ride time and that was on FOP.. CRAZY!!! Anyway, here's the screenshot...

I'm just glad to find out I'm not the only one who checks WDW wait times for my favorite attractions when I'm not at WDW!!!

My kids and I play a game called "Guess the wait time" My 10 year old daughter amazes me at her ability to predict ride times.. It's uncanny how she guesses either perfectly or within 5 minutes.. She smokes me and my 13 year old son when we play the game. She definitely needs to work for Disney in some capacity when she gets older. She's a Disney fanatic like her dad.. Not so much, the boy!

I do this all the time too. Lowest I saw Flight of Passage over Irma weekend was 75 minutes! STILL over an hour with all the craziness!

I did this a lot leading up to my most recent trip, I would sit and think 'oh it's bed time here , what's happening in Disney'

I saw 20 minutes and 5 minutes, respectively for the two new rides in Avatarland that Friday evening.. CRAZY!!!

13-minute wait time at The Tower of Terror is actually a code for "No wait time". So, I am sorry to say that it wasn't put there by some clever CM but rather is has a double meaning. Since the ride opened in 1994, they had wanted to be different so instead of putting up a wait time of "0", they put "13 minutes" to mean the same thing. Go old Disney fun/pun.
