I Lied ....its been so cold here 15 below with winds making it 35 below ....Funny how Elsa & Anna & Olaf have taken a liken to Florida weather...See them in 18 days !!!

It's this time of year where I truly appreciate moving from Minnesota back to California!

Last year at this time we were living on a farm in very rural southern Minnesota. This image will be emblazoned in my brain forever, mostly as a reason to never go back. Our propane tank had to be refilled and this was the poor delivery guy...note the thermometer on the tree and that it was minus-18....regular temperature in the middle of the day......I also decided my desk job wasn't so bad after all....

I'd rather have our winters than Florida's summers. And the current temperature is 18 degrees Fahrenheit, or roughly -8 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, being a snowbird when I'm old(er) does have its appeal.

South of Atlanta close to Macon. It is 9:15, dark but still 35 degrees. Back home 12 degrees but feels like -1. Brrr!!
