Coral Reef Restaurant with Children?

I LOVE this review of the Coral Reef Restaurant but I'm wondering if it's worth it to go with children because of the price. Obviously, they would love the atmosphere (I think!).

We went last year and tool our children (8 and 1.5 at the time) they both loved it but we used the dining plan. My son is a seafood fanatic so he loved the food... Me I'm not so it definatley wasn't my favorite

Actually... besides Teppan... It may had been our sons favorite place to have supper.

Actually... I just asked him. He said Teppan first. Sanaa second. Then Coral was third... lol

Scratch that... he said Boma third, then Coral... so you can tell what kind of impact it had on an 8 year old... lol

Hey Jess - may I ask what you had? We keep thinking we want to go just for the atmosphere/experience, but neither Joe nor I are big seafood fans and would probably opt for something else. But we worry whether it would be ok.

I don't remember off the top of my head so I went and looked at the menu and I would think it would of been either the chicken or pork tenderloin.

It really is a beautiful restaurant, and imo, there are so few places at Disney that you can't take kiddoes. So if you'd like to go, then go for it. I think everyone would enjoy it. The last time I ate there, the food was outstanding. I'd love to get back there.
