Ichabod Crane. A new Halloween character.

Haha! That would be perfect for the crane's appearance in the fall!
George Kalogridis or Meg Crofton would be who you would want to get a hold of. Thomas Skaggs would also be a good choice.

For the record it's *Staggs*
Oh my gosh, I got absolutely reamed by a reader for writing an article (or two) where I misspelled it *sigh* at least I was consistent. One of my more humiliating moments as a writer. Being that he's your boss - you should probably know the right name.
Here is his company profile

I probably meant to put Staggs but put Skaggs instead. I usually type faster then my brain can think.

LOL! I do that all the time! And sometimes I'll even look at what I typed and it says nothing at all because I was trying to be clever and multi-task and my fibro-brain decided to spit out jibberish. It's amazing I can communicate at all.
Glad to know I'm not the only that does that.
I don't know what every one's problem is. I personally think the crane makes a wonderful addition to the flights of wonder show. Wait, I think I may be off topic here.

Haha! Oh, THAT crane.
I would agree on that one.
Dat crane doe....
But seriously, I was there earlier this week for my first trip ever, and that thing was such an eye-sore. If I wasn't so distracted by how massive that Castle was, I would have been more upset. Atleast they take it down at night time
Dang! I was hoping it would be gone by now.
Wow! This is all very interesting. I've never visited while the crane has been up and with all of the Disney sites I read, this is the first mention I have ever heard of the crane. I do love the idea of renaming it Ichabod and dressing it up. I hope to see this implemented for next fall as out trip will fall during crane season.

Ichabod Crane it is. I will never see it quite the same again.
Chip & Co. reports:
"
The Crane has returned!
The crane made its debut this year on September 8th and is expected to remain there though at least September 21st. Yes the crane will be photo bombing our castle selfies over the next couple of weeks but that is only temporary and the beautiful display of lights we get in return more than makes up for it."
Wow! Possibly gone by Sept. 21? I thought sure that we would have crane photos in late September, but maybe not?!

Yep they're right
Darn... We missed it by one day.
Well. If it's gone by the 21 I'll be happy
Well, I'm hitting MK for MNSSHP, so with that logic, I wont see it either:cool:

I can dream. I guess I'm over thinking it. We found our old favorite spot to view the shows by bouncing around. But with a 4 and 7 year old having their first visit I am hoping to be a little more prepared for them. Hyper uncle mode.
I've been waiting forty years to see the castle. I sure hope the crane is gone by mid October.
The crane has been put away. I was in fantasyland and noticed it was gone the other day.
I know he really should. Apparently Prince Charming has been busy lately with Prince Phillip teaching Flynn Ryder how to slay dragons with a sword instead of a frying pan.
Love it.
I was looking at Disney groups on Facebook and found one dedicated to the crane (Disney World Crane).
