Credit Card Reservations For TS ADRS...

Hi Folks..Correct if I'am wrong here, but I thought only signature restaurant bookings required a credit card,as I made 3 bookings over the phone in the last two days, and each ADR required a credit card..But on my Disney experience it is asking for a credit card for an ADR at Via Napoli..( always dubious about putting my credit card details on line ) ...If no one knows this answer,I will phone Disney dining number later on tonight..

Yeah I had to with all my ADR's its because if you don't turn up for your reservation there is a charge of $10 per person so you have to give the credit card for all reservations now sad

I know I had to give my credit card (when am on the meal plan) info for Garden Grill, and when I booked the Fantasmic Package at Hollywood and Vine..so I don't consider them Signature Restaurants but I guess am wrong.

Yep, you now have to give a credit card for all reservations.

Scrappy...ummmm that is strange because I didn't have to give credit card information for other dinning reservations like Liberty Tree Tavern and Coral Reef.

The only reason I can think of that they may not have asked you for one was because you have a credit card number on file on your profile? I know I had to give one for every reservation I made for our May trip. Many of our ADR are for signature dining but not all of them are. I am pretty sure they changed the rules to needing a credit card for all ADR's when they started charging for no-shows.

Umm...don't think that is it as am going in May as well and I had to give them the credit card number for the ones that required it...this is very strange indeed.

Maybe it is different on the meal plan? Yes, all ressie's must be secured with a credit card now. And by the way, King Fergus, if you have your eyes set on a Kitchen Sink, Beaches and Cream is ADR now, too.

I can't speak for what they do with dining plan people. But for us...

Last November we only had to use a credit card to reserve at certain restaurants, 'Ohana for dinner and Cape May Cafe for breakfast in our case.

This April I needed to give a credit card number to reserve everything, and the website had a disclaimer saying that all WDW TS restaurants now require a credit card to hold your table.

The only exception to using a credit card to "hold" the ADR (which means they don't charge it unless you don't show or put your extras on it) is for events such as Wishes Buffet. We had to pay up front so Ta reserved yesterday and it popped up on our account this morning. No refund either.
