Why not? We live by those things at my work. I even have to carry a 300 gig Iomega portable hard drive around. Looks like a flask! They all thought I was hitting the juice at work when they first saw it. People still think it's a flask at times. I call it my "flask" drive.

Viruses, security, privacy, theft. Everyone you ask has a different answer. I do like dropbox though because the folder syncs on my home computer, the website is easy to access and I have apps for all my other devices.
