Customized t-shirts for Disney trips

Has anyone ever had customized t-shirts made for the parks? (Or any other type of clothing/accessory for that matter?) We made some a few years ago for a "girls' trip" and had a lot of fun with it. We used customink.com, and were pleased with them.

We're considering making some t-shirts for WDWforGrownups.com for our next trip (nothing "in your face," just the URL on the back of a plain t-shirt...maybe a funny saying on the front). Can anyone recommend any other Customized Products companies that they've used in the past? I'd love to compare pricing. mickey

I've never used them, but I've heard good things about zazzle.com

Thats a GREAT idea! Might drum up a lot of new board posters.

I know when I travel I usually come back with a list of websites I want to look at. When I see one I like, I punch it into the Blackberry. I CAN'T be the only one!

(Well, I COULD be I guess.....)

I'm guessing that we can finish the sentence "Moustraveler is the only one who..." with a lot of things.

That's the one I've heard of the most. Mostly good things too.

I've used customink as well and have been pleased. Zazzle has a connection to Disney, though, and may have some good Disney images that they're allowed to use.

Will we be able to get wdwfg tshirts, too? Wink

I've used Zazzle.com several times to make Disney related t shirts for trips. I have always been very pleased with the outcome.

It drives my husband crazy but I LOVE having shirts made for group trips. In fact, the ones I had made for my nephew's first trip to WDW got us very close to being grand marshall at the MK afternoon parade.....long story I'll share some other time.

I also had shirts made when we went on our family trip for my mom's birthday.

I love having those pictures of all of us with our matching shirts. I just think it make an extra special memory

What a great idea! I don't have any personal experience with companies, sorry. But I think it's a great way to drum up new business--as well as a good conversation starter!

I always get terrified when I see a big group of people in the same shirt at theme parks. Makes me figure there are a lot more of them and they're probably going to make my lines long.

Only if they are being led by a person carrying a triangular red flag and their shirts are printed in Spanish. biggrin

laugh I have to disagree! I've had some hoardes of same-shirted people who make my lines long even if the shirts are NOT in Spanish! I always end up going during class trip season sarcastic

Yeah it's the class-trippers who scare me too. Somehow multiple groups manage to come on the same day that I'm there. Terrifying!

I've decided when we have enough kids to warrant such a thing, I'm making the dorkiest shirts possible laugh

Both good ideas. I want people (other than us) to look at them and think 'What in the heck!?', though:)

That's going to be great, LIFL! I'm proud of you for thinking about ways to embarrass your kids before they're even born. Good man awesome laugh

I do what I can mickey

My goal is for my kids to think I'm a total geek, but in a fun way. A way they'd embrace and want to be a part of.

I think if we were going to adopt a uniform, we'd probably have to do something like these:

I love the retro epcot stuff. I guess Disney realized that ebayers were making a mint selling the old 80's tshirts and started making new ones!

That's happened with a lot of nostalgia based markets. There's a brief secondary market then someone realizes they can flood the market with newly created stuff, which of course diminishes the cool factor in the long run.

I think most of us here are 'of an age' we remember tie-dyed t-shirts. My vote is one of those that says "Groovy...We be trippin at WDW"

Good morning!

I had t-shirts (one white and one light blue) custom-made for me by cafepress.com which I wore during Mousefest in 2006. It consisted of the screen names I've used on various WDW fan communities, such as Disboards, Passporter, and Tagrel, with Mickey heads down the right side.

Do you use different screen names on all your communities?

laugh The dual nature of "trippin" is a good add-in...though most of my "sedation" comes via food at Disney World!

Hi,

I use different screen names and passwords for each website of which I am a member.
