Discovery Cove sounds really interesting to me. But then I've already been to Universal.

I think I'd hit Universal at least once for my lifetime and then I'd go check out Discovery Cove. Although I might do Sea World once first too.

Agreed with the other posters, but Discovery Cove has always been a place i've wanted to try...

Let us know what you decide! Have you decided on a trip yet?

Don't you have to wear a wetsuit at Discovery Cove? That would not be a good look for me I don't think. Skin-tight is not my thing.

I agree that Universal should be done once, then move on to Discover Cove. Have you don't Universal SpaceAce?

Thanks for the feedback, all. I think we're leaning toward Discovery Cove. Anyone know how early you have to book?

By all means go to DISCOVERY COVE!!!

It's pretty much a once in a life time experience and helps you develop a love of the animals that I didnt have before I went there...and I learned alot Laughing out loud

how far out you need to book depends on teh time of the year you are going...if I remember correctly when my best friend took me for my birthday back in Sept of 2001 we booked a couple of weeks in advance.

DISNEY LOVE and anybody else interested in knowing more about Disovery Cove...contact me if you have any questions...like I said before I have been there before and I also worked a summer at Sea World and love to talk about those experiences 8(Laughing out loud

Hi, Dizneluver, welcome to the board!

Do you still live/work in Orlando?

Thanks for the info (and welcome to the boards!)!

Does a Discovery Cove trip take all day? What exactly happens there? I know you swim with dolphins, but is there an educational component?

Thank you for the insights, Diz! Welcome to wdwfg--hope you like it here!

Good advice to book a bit in advance. Luckily we're full-steam ahead planning for october right now!
