Disney Angling For 70% Share of Hulu

This is a pretty interesting article for folks who love their streaming services and have been following the Disney content that is and isn't available these days. It seems like Disney is angling for a 70% share of Hulu. The battle against Netflix continues.

What are your thoughts about this? Do you care? Will Disney's majority change your viewing habits?

We never got into the streaming services. Never watched Netflix or Hulu. Hell, we don't even have a smart TV yet!

My husband Geordon was way more interested in this story than I was to be honest. He's all about the streaming services. I'm just cranky because I know I will have to order Disney+ to see Tom Hiddelston's new Loki series.

I don't stream either. I don't know if this would influence me starting or not.

We ONLY stream. We haven't had cable or even basic channels in probably 7 or 8 years. Disney+ will be added to our already large streaming collection on it's release and I'm super excited about it! That being said, hopefully they get a really amazing tech team on it. Obviously we all know the struggles of DisneyWorld.com and My Disney Experience, but from a mom's perspective, the current Disney Jr. streaming app is horrible. Very slow, freezes up often, and there have been multiple occurrences where it has stopped working all together for weeks at a time. Quite frustrating when you promised your daughter she could earn some Lion Guard or Muppet Babies after her homework. waiting
