Disney Home School Days

I know, I know...not a grownup topic, but anyway...

I homeschool DD 7 (actually, I use the county virtual option) and we are really enjoying the freedom of our decision. I saw Homeschool Days on Disney Parks Blog earlier this week, and I'm definitely intrigued! I think it's pretty cool that they're reaching out to folks who are taking this non traditional educational path.

What other types of programs would you like to see Disney offer, maybe educational, and maybe not just for students, but adults too? I loved the idea of the old Disney Institute and was sad when that was changed up.

My friend Sabrina, who homeschools and lives in Celebration, says that there is a local homeschool group that does monthly Disney Homeschool Days. I have GOT to get in on that! Smile

This is totally random and doesn't have much to do with this thread but a friend of mine recently took her Girl Scout troop down to Disney and did a YES Program. They got to go to MK early in the morning and did..well something. I'm not sure exactly what but they had notepads. I have no idea what a YES program is..but it looked awesome!

This is so fantastic, I wish that I could take Katie down for the Fall session, she would LOVE that!
