Disney Pin Celebration 2009

In case anyone is interested in this, the 2009 Disney Pin Celebration - The Museum of pin-tiquities opens its registration yesterday and released the list of the event pins. If you collect Chip 'N Dale, Stitch, and Figment merchandise, you'll be in Hog Heaven with this one.

Yours truly will be attending this event.

Zz.

Yeah, I read about this and would love to be able to go. Unfortunately, after January, and then September and December, going back in late June just won't be possible.

I'd love to take part in some of those events, especially pre purchasing some LE pins.

That looks like a lot of fun, Zapperz. Will you copy us on any reports/pics?

My favorite pin so far is this one:

I didn't even realize the changes to that picture at first. I'm dense.

Hah! It's much easier to notice the changes when you read the pin's name (something like "Jack and Sally out for a stroll")

That's a really awesome Pin. ZapperZ, do you have any particularly favorite clever ones?

There are a few "must haves" out of the event pins. Keep in mind that we collect (i) Donald Duck and (ii) Chip 'N Dale pins. So that should tell you the reason why I'm picking these pins have must haves:

Item #3 - Purely nostalgia/historical reason.
Item #27 - Simply because 2009 is the Year of Astronomy. Smile
Item #33 - Because it's a fun pin, and it is only LE 250.
Item #35 - Jumbo Periodic Table of Pins - 'nuff said! Smile
Item #37 - the Sarcophagus.
Item #39 - The ancient scroll map
Item #47 - The Chip 'N Dale framed set.

I will be putting in a few more pins in my RSP, but as of now, those are going to be the ones at the top of the list to get.

Zz.

I thought of your vocation when I looked at that Periodic Table pin!

I think I have a 2003or4 MNSSHP Chip and Dale pin (I believe it was one of the "sold on this night only" pins). Do you have that one in your collection? Chip and Dale are dressed as ghosts.

I probably don't. So when are you sending it to me?
