I've gotta dock GF, too. There's something wrong with paying THAT much money and still getting pretty much the same room you're getting at the Yacht and Beach or Boardwalk resorts. Plus -- they haven't even switched to good bedding. They still have basically the same comforters they've had for years that never get washed (as I learned working in housekeeping at a hotel). At least with the duvet comforters at places like Contemporary and Coronado Springs the outer covering gets washed.

The Grand Floridian is BORING and the counter staff was not very helpful to us this past summer when we were trying to get a spa certificate for a friend.

Wow, I'm surprised about the early beating that GF is taking. I think it's beautiful and well-maintained. We had a good experience there, too.

Haha, it's just not my style and I think that's true for a lot of people. It's a gorgeous resort but I would much rather stay about 40 other places.

I love it, but I'll take a point from Yacht & Beach Club. I like the themeing at the other hotels much better. Y&B is a bit too standard.

I agree with my wife - the location on AKL kind of sucks. However, Boma is there, so I'm not knocking the point. I'm taking it from Wilderness Lodge because, well, I didn't really want to take it from any place else right now.

Well the last one was almost a foretold conclusion. I shouldn't have put Boma in there as everyone loves Boma. I can understand the sentiments on the Contemporary. It doesn't hold as much Magic on the surface, but staying in the tower with the great views and being able to walk to the Magic Kingdom is wonderful. Plus, the rooms there are the nicest I've stayed at in any WDW hotel.
I'll try to pick a more provocative set of restaurants the next time we do dining. 
I would have voted Boma out because I havent eaten there. haha
Lol..it would be funny if we got really adamant about our hotel love and caused a huge fight.

I think the Contemporary means so much to me because it was the original, and the concept (being able to take out rooms and update them modularly, even if it never actually worked) is so cool. And I suppose that working there and meeting DH there probably has something to do with it. I know the Poly is original too, but it just doesn't have the sway over me that the Contemporary has.
I've never been to Boma (commence your gasps of shock.)
