Disney World Nightmares

I had my first ever WDW trip nightmare! I apparently was going with my cousin (odd to begin with because we have very little contact) and we were staying with some family at their house (which, as dreams go, was not their actual house). It was our last day to go and we had missed every single other day because of getting stuck at the family's house. So I was getting ready and found out that she had left for the day and wasn't coming back. I was SO SO mad and then sick with how much money we had spent and never even went on the trip itself.

Have you ever had a nightmare about your trips?

Oh yeah! I'm a vivid dreamer, I dream every night and can usually remember what they were about. I've had Disney nightmares. Especially right before a trip that i've been thoroughly planning. I haven't really been planning a lot for the one upcoming so I haven't had any nightmares... But it's still 2 weeks away and now that i'm thinking about it, i'll probably have one tonight. They are the worst!!! lol

I've had lots of dreams like that, although I wouldn't call them nightmares - I reserve that term for the really terrifying stuff. But that's a pretty recurrent dream for me - there's like a day or two left on the trip to WDW and for some reason or another we haven't done anything yet, or the day is passing quickly and we can't get ourselves out the door and over to a park.

I know I've had some, but I can't ever remember the details after I wake up. Just the feeling of disappointment sad

I've had one, with slightly different variations. I am sitting on a curb on Main Street and I am run over by a parade float. It's been Peter Pan and Hook in the pirate ship and Rapunzel's float. I am ok and they offer me a night in the castle. Of course I always wake up before they get me there... Now that I think about it, maybe this is the underlying cause of me not watching parades..... waiting

I've had a nightmare about Disneyland.
I'm walking next to Thunder Mountain Railroad and then i get a creepy feeling and i look around and there is nothing around me no flowers, trees nothing but grass and short black iron fence. I look ahead an there is the Matterhorn standing all by itself and it seems way bigger then it should be...and it has this magnetic feeling that pulls you in. My mind is screaming no but my body is being pulled towards it and when i go to the Matterhorn something happens i don't remember what but when i have that dream now i can make myself stop before the magnetic part. I can now wake myself up or I run away from the Matterhorn and somehow wind up on or next to Tarzans treehouse.

The thing is Disneyland in my dream isn't laid out like it should be and i love the Matterhorn.
