Do you make a Trip Book?

I love making trip books.

I get a binder and divide it up into sections. Resort info, Park Days, Dining, etc.

Anyone else?

I used to..especially for my first trips which were pretty spaced out. I loved saving everything and making spreadsheets..ohh my. It made my Type A heart very happy! Then we started going 2-3 times a year and I quit making them. It has been awhile since my last trip though..so I may make one for my next trip.

Do you have pictures of your books??

Yes! I'm a terrible scrapbooker. I just like to have a binder that I start to use with planning and then bring it with us. It's like a DIY Passporter! Wink

Welcome to Jeff's OCD Island. I am your host today.... mickey I make a folder every trip - it keeps me occupied.

Mine typically include my planning schedule (yes, I make an Excel spreadsheet - but I keep it flexible!), all my tickets, reservations, checklists, and anything else we get from Disney before the trip. Here are a few from years gone by:

2008:

2009:

(I got a bit excited for this trip - it was my birthday trip!)

2010:

2011 is already started and in a new Mickey binder Joe found on clearance at Target yeah

Yes, I have issues....just ask Joe.....

I don't have a book but I did put all my information into a spreadsheet which includes park hours, EMH, ADRs and entertainment schedules.

I would love to take a closer look at your guy's spreadsheets! I always feel like my formatting could be better, but I'm not that creative in Excel. Here is my spreadsheet for this Oct trip if anyone is interested. I have to update the park hours to include changes in EMH, though. The formatting through google docs kind of screws it up a bit Sad

Here's my spreadsheet - hope this works! I think if you mouse over it you should get an option to see a slightly larger version.

Mine are similar too, but I also like to put my ADR ressie numbers, I actually had to use one once because my name was misspelled and they couldn't find us.

I also put in blank spaces to add room for surprises or must sees we weren't anticipating until we get there. We just write them to fit the days schedule.

I've never saved them though.

I do have all my ADRs and confirmation #s on mine too, I just took them off so the whole world did not have them when I posted it Tongue I like the idea of blank spaces - I will add that!

I make a binder each year also, but I've never done a spreadsheet to plan my days. These are amazing! I'll have to keep this in mind for our trip next year. This year's trip is too close to try to do anything like that before we go!
