Lots of people have cool stories about awesome and rare experiences that happen to them in Disney World. Do you feel like you're one of the people who that kind of stuff happens to, or are you one of the ones where you wonder why it never happens to you? We always feel like we've been pretty lucky, but we've also gone quite a bit. How's your luck?
We have been in the right place at the right time a couple of time during "year of a million dreams but that is about it. Never any real cool stuff like a FREE upgrade, being the 50 millionth guest and getting a free lifetime pass 
I will still keep going anyways. Freebies are not the reason we go anyways. But they are nice to get.
You know I read all the time about people who get upgraded to savanna view rooms at AKL. We've never risked it though, because we wouldn't really ever want to stay there without a savanna view and we're not the lucky kind. We've had some good luck there, but we don't want to push it.
I'd say we are middle of the road..we've had a few perks along the way..we got an upgrade at POP once..and for some reason we always seem to get picked out of the audience for stuff (HS streetmosphere love us apparently). Dave made it to the hot seat on WHTMAMPI twice in one trip! But nothing super crazy like a night in the castle or anything like that.

I'm always curious what, if any, logic they use to decide who to give stuff to when they're celebrating. I'm always curious if they know that I'm a lifer so there's no need to bribe me with stuff to come back.
