Dole Whip Question

Dole Whip Question

So, we're all in agreement with the wider Disney community - Dole Whips Rock! But I've always been a purist, and I've just gotten a plain Dole Whip, or a pineapple vanilla swirl. I'd LOVE to try a float - I love floats! - but they look like they're pineapple soft serve + pineapple juice - which sound like a sore tongue to me (I know...I'm weird. Too much pineapple makes my tongue sore.)

SO - my question: can you get the float with something else, say, sprite? Now THAT would be yummy!

I would think as long as they have the pop you want... I dont see it being a problem. I could find out in 10 days for ya... lol

I might be wrong but I am pretty sure that you can get vanilla icecream with pineapple juice...that might not be so tart.

I talk big game about the Dole Whip but in actuality I am a vanilla/pineapple swirl girl myself. Yum..I want one. Can I come in 10 days?

Oh, that sounds interesting! I always preferred the Citrus Slush they had when the Florida Orange Growers were the sponsor. I love Dole Whip, but the orange slushie was better I think I would like the Orange with Sprite!

Have you tried Mezzo Mix at Club Cool in Epcot? The coke and orange tastes like that.

A local grocer here now carries Mezzo Mix, I'm in trouble. Yummz!

I just had my very first Dole Whip on my recent trip. I know, I know (hangs head in shame).
I got the classic and I found it a little too much pineapple flavor for me. I don't dislike pineapple, but this was pretty intense. Next time, I'd probably go for the pineapple/vanilla swirl.

We just got a new ice cream maker and we found Dole Whip mix on line to buy. Some say it doesn't turn out the same, but I think we're going to try. The kids say it's a Disney treat and they don't want us to make it at home!

That's a pretty cool (no pun intended) position for the kids to take I kinda feel the same way. But we definitely want to hear how it turns out, for folks who would kill for a Dole whip

Do they still have chocolate dole whip. I remember asking for chocolate pineapple swirl. The machine was not set up for it but the very sweet cm made me one in layers.

The one I went to didn't have chocolate ice-cream. I think they had other chocolate stuff? But not chocolate ice-cream. Just the vanilla and pineapple.

It was in 2007the that they had chocolate. It was dairyfree with the same base as the vanilla. I don't remember if it was Wdw or Disneyland. We did both that year.
