I have a surprisingly poor track record of eating at the DTD table service restaurants. Who recommends which one? Any we should stay away from?

I enjoyed Portobello on my last trip. The chocolate cake was great for dessert, and we both enjoyed our pasta dishes.
I'd love to hear a review of Cap'n Jack's. I haven't been there in ages and have NO idea if it's worth it.

Raglan Road! Great combination of atmosphere and tatsy food.
I am sure you already know which one gets our vote, but here it is anyway...Fultons. Annual passholders get 20% off here too.
Good question!
I was also wondering if anyone has tried the Wolfgang Puck dining room (above the cafe)?
Wolfgang puck! Express, sit down or any other way they will give it to me! It's so yummy! I'm dreaming abaout it already and I won't get there until August 4th!
I may be the ONLY person in America to think so but Capn' Jacks was a real winner for us!
We went to DTD one day without an ADR and just happened to go there..they were turning away people left and right but for some reason they sat us right away. We had the dining plan so we were able to add lobster tails to our meal..and we ordered the lobster tail dinner! So we got two lobster tails!
To us it was just amazing, the lobster was just so good, the veggies and the potatoes were excellent. We were in heaven.
Although, you should take this for what it's worth because neither Dave nor I had ever had lobster before. New Englanders might be very disappointed in the quality.
Rather reluctlanly, we tried T-Rex and were surprisingly pleased. You have to go in with appropriate expectations; think Rainforest Cafe type expectations.
The sandwich I had (chicken salad with tarrogan on a croissant) was a nice surprise, and the atmosphere was fun and the service very good.
We also really like Paradiso 37. We've eaten there twice now, and it has yet to disapoint.
We have eaten in almost all the restaurants in Downtown Disney Market Place and a few in West Side. At our age it's just a matter of getting something to eat. We seem to be just as well fed at a counter service as at a table service restaurant. The only difference is the cost. Save almost 2/3 at counter service and still get to sit down. Just adds up to more nights staying at a resort for us. To each their own I guess.

Thanks for the review Bella! I'll take a look at the menu and we might give it a try.

I think Pardiso 37 is under appreciated. That's a really fun place with good food and last time I was there it was even easy to get in to.
Did NOT like Bongos...maybe for drinks later but it was loud and the food was just okay and I like that type of food!
