Dream Resort

Is there a Disney resort that you've always wanted to stay at but haven't? For me it's the Grand Floridian. Someday......just not in the budget right now. I love Victorian style and that resort has it in abundance. Anyone else?

I still have the GF on my radar. I just need to justify the expense. Might be one of those trips where we split resorts for the trip.

the Boardwalk and the Polynesian are both dream resorts for me!

On my sept 2012 trip I am staying at Boardwalk villas (squeal!!!) but i can only afford to by renting DVC points...so unfortunately I don't see my self being able to afford the Poly in the near (or even distant) future

Ploynesian..MK View! It's our "dream" maybe one day when we are all "grown up" hahaha! For now we have too many other things we need that spending that much would be out of reach and frivolous of us.

Animal Kingdom Lodge and/or Polynesian for me. Though when we were there last week (best vacation ever!) mickey I saw some of the construction for the Art of Animation, and it is looking seriously cool!

Mine changes, but I love GF and the Contemporary, so I'd be happy with either one of those, preferably club level with a great view! Or Yacht and Beach. I love being able to walk to resorts.

For me it has always been the Contemporary (MK View Room), and my dream is coming true in less than 3 weeks. It took a huge life event like turning 40 to push me to splurge on a Deluxe Resort, but splurge I did. I can't wait to watch the fireworks from my balcony with a glass of wine and my DH and to be able to walk to the MK!!! clapping

Contemporary with a MK view, Animal Kingdom Lodge with an animal view, and Boardwalk with a view of the boardwalk and water.

Oddly, GF doesn't interest me very much.

My dream was AKL but got to do that. Now I'd say maybe BC or Poly for deluxe and POFQ for mod (which were doing in 2012).

I would *really* love to stay at the Poly on the concierge level with an MK View. However they don't have a hot tub at the Poly and I really need that at the end of the night if I want to be mobile the next day. I just don't understand why they've never put one there.

Are you for real?!? They need to upgrade that situation!

When they redesigned the pool they added an area to it that is warmer and has bubbles, but it's just not the same. You would think that adding a hot tub wouldn't be that difficult, but for some reason it just happened.

I can afford to go to any resort I like. Not 4 times a year but at least once. I prefer Pop Century over all and Jan and I have visited every Disney resort about 20 times each. I think it's because there are so many young familys there that the kids give off more magic than any other resort we have been to.(Same with the All Stars). Of course Jan and I were alway a bit out of the norm.

My mistake. I meant to post this comment in the 'Dream Resort' thread.

GF by far. It would have to be at Christmas time though (not that I'm picky).

You will absalutely love this resort. My husband and I stayed here summer 2010. It was amazing!!! The fun choice to walk or take a boat ride to Epcot or H.S. is great. If you go try to get a lake view (waterview) room with balcony, you'll have no regrets. To watch all the fun and amusing performers and watching the boats come and go from your balcony is amazing and worth the splurge!!! We still talk about it to this day...We are going again this December for MVMCP and plan on visiting there for the day. Breakfast at Cat Cora's Kouzzina is a must!
