Dreaming of Disney

Do you have nightmares or strange dreams when you have a big Disney trip coming up? I've been having quite a few lately... I guess because we are bringing my in laws to Disney World and they have never been before... So I am nervous... And I have done so much planning for this trip... The type of dreams I'm having remind me of the dreams that I used to have before my wedding... I just wondered if anyone else experienced this? Last night my dream was that the whole family was on TSM... I quickly ensured them that it wasn't scary and that it was a gaming ride because we were late for our FP... When I told them to put their 3D glasses on, my sister in law insisted that she hated 3D and wouldn't put the glasses on... Then as we were on the ride I noticed that my husbands parents fell asleep in the back.... And my husband wouldn't stop talking the whole time we were on the ride... When I woke up and told him about it, it was actually pretty funny... But in the dream I was SO frustrated... LOL

It's ok, Karlipants! If they turn out to be party-poopers, I'll ride TSM with you!!

I don't usually have odd dreams before Disney (I'd have to be able to sleep to have dreams and I can never sleep before Disney)! But, before I go to sleep every night, I either read a few pages of my current book (reading The Disney War right now) or I do a word or number puzzle. For a while, I was working my way through a book of Hanjie puzzles (a pictogram sort of thing where you use a number code to fill in boxes to reveal a surprise image) and my puzzle for the night before I left made a Mickey Mouse! I had never done one that made a Disney picture before and I couldn't believe my eyes!

Yep! My kids do too. My son was telling me just last week that he was dreaming that we were on an Adventures by Disney Tour in England as a family. Very strange because that's never even been in the blue sky plans!

I have Disney dreams ALL THE TIME. Not, like, nightly, but often enough, and not just when a trip is coming up.

Sometimes the dream goes like this: There's just a day or two left on the trip and I've forgotten to go to the parks all week! (Like that school dream many of us have where the semester is almost over and we've forgotten to go to any of our classes.) So I'm desperately trying to figure out how I'm going to cram all four parks into a day or two. Yikes. Or I'm wasting the day away trying to find the right clothes to wear, my park pass, my money, etc. (Does it sound like I'm Disney-obsessed or what?)

Other dreams include checking into the Disney resort and trying to figure out what to do next. Or sometimes I'm at one of the parks touring, but it's a dream, of course, so the parks are nothing like the actual parks. Sometimes I'm trying to park-hop but can't figure out how to get to the next park; other times it's easy because I can fly! Yay!
