DVC Members Only Lounge at Epcot

https://

Have you all seen images of the new DVC Member Lounge at Epcot? It's upstairs in the Imagination pavilion and looks like a lovely place to take a break for awhile from the busy Park. The view alone is worth stopping by in my opinion, but while you're there you can rest in comfortable chairs, recharge your electronics, rearrange your fastpass+ selections and ADRs on the computer station, let the kids play some video games, have a complimentary beverage. DVC and RCI staff members will be available to help you with any future vacation needs.

What do you think? As a DVC member do you think you'll use the lounge?

I will say it is about time they used that area for something other then storage for old props.

Oh, heck, yes! What an awesome space. And free Cokes. We can stuff ourselves at Food and Wine and then take a break in the lounge. Perfect.

I don't know how much I'll hang out up there, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it and I'm super excited about free snacks and beverages!

It reminds me of the idea behind Salon Mickey at DLP, shame I can't visit it but I love the idea of spaces/ lounges that are set up for these purposes. It always seems to be a little added extra that goes a long way.

The space seems really nice too - love the Windows, bet the view is great.

Now that I've been able to experience this, I must say I think it's one of the best perks EVER offered to DVC Members. I would love it if all of the Parks had a special lounge like this for members. It was a fantastic place to take a break in the middle of day, to rest and to put my feet up for a bit.

I was talking with the cast that is staffed there and they have gotten a LOT of positive feedback on the member lounge. If that continues they may even consider keeping it after the 25th Anniversary is over. So - if you've been able to enjoy this lounge, or even just think it's a great idea, and you're a DVC Member - be sure to contact DVC and let them know how much you love it and that you want them to keep it around for years to come.

It was fantastic - - nice respite from heat and theme park frenzy too! I actually bought or brought my own snack or sandwich in to eat in the quiet.

From the 2017 End of Year DVC Newsletter!

"Launched in 2016 as part of Disney Vacation Club's celebration of "25 years and beyond," the Member Lounge on the second floor of the Imagination! Pavilion at Epcot became an instant hit. The lounge's popularity prompted its extended operation in 2017, and I'm pleased to report that it's scheduled to remain open throughout 2018. If you happen to be visiting Epcot, I encourage you to stop by the lounge between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily to enjoy comfortable seating, complimentary soft drinks, Wi-Fi, device-charging stations, access to Member Service Advisors and more."
