Has anyone ever been to Vero Beach or Hilton Head, or is anyone planning on using the Ko Olina DVC? I'd love to hear reviews and rationale. Is it just as "Disney" there? Does it make more sense to stay somewhere non-Disney if you're not AT Disney?

I would be sorely tempted to try out Ko Olina. I love Hawaii.

Like Brad, Ko Olina would be my first choice once it is finished. Never been to Hawaii but that would make it much more feasible.

Vero Beach is always put out there as a great place, has anyone been? I would be so gung-ho for Hawaii, although I have some doubts about the fact that it's on Oahu, which is to me, the least appealing island.

Agreed. Knowing your accommodations are paid for would make that trip much more do-able.
