Family Members and Disney

How many of you have family members who love Disney? I've taken some family and all of them enjoyed it, but none of them were converted. They thought it was nice but didn't immediately schedule trips themselves.

Some people got their pixie dust from the parents and some passed it on to their kids. Do you have Disney lovers in your family?

Well let's see..it started with my grandparents (my grand dad and I would ride the train around..and around and around..you get the point) then my mom is a huge Disney buff like me and my sister and my kids and my aunt and my cousin and my niece and now my great nephew! Working on Craig's (darling boyfriend) kids and folks next!

I'm always kind of jealous of people who have family members who love it too. Is it particularly fun to share it with them?

My whole family loves it (as you probably figured after you saw my post of my huge family trip). 3 of my cousins do not like it though. In my house my mom and dad are obsessed as well and we're all hoping to go in 2012 together! My grandma loves it too but is not able to handle the demands of sun and activity now. My brother is 21 so he's very into cancun right now but he would also jump at the chance for a vacation there. My mom, dad, brother, nanny, and I have taken 6 trips together.

Be sure to send us all invitations! Maybe we can all go in on a Golden Oak house together laugh

I wouldnt say my family loves it but I think they like it. I went fairly often as a kid (not every year but enough). I am hoping my parents will head down with us in the next year or so when we take DS for the first time. I think they'd really enjoy it if they experienced all the perks like staying on site, the golfing, the nicer resorts, the boating, the dining etc...They aren't "crazy" for rides really.

I don't have a lot of family, but my mom and brother loved WDW when I took them for their first trip a few years ago. Like me, they had been to DL many times and we had many great times there growing up.

I'm pretty sure I've sold a few APs in my day on behalf of Disney! My parents used to take us to the World for one day of our Florida beach vacation, but they were never converted until I took them on an adults-only trip. They've been AP holders since then, and head to Disney World at least once a year (usually much more than that!)
