Favorite Place to Chill in Public at WDW

Guys - it is a GORGEOUS day here in Central Florida! Sunny, breezy, and I'm having a terrible time concentrating! I keep dreaming of chillin' in a hammock at Caribbean Beach...

What are your very favorite places to chill in public at WDW? Hammocks, benches, beach chairs, grassy areas? I want to have a picnic on one of those lawns at POR in the WORST way!

Fountain of Nations, there's a great bench on the right side with the main walk way to World Showcase behind you. It's shaded enough to keep cool and gives a full view of the fountain, great understated spot!

Don't go stealing my bench now! lol

My favorite spot is the first one that is unoccupied when I need to sit and get off my feet. Smile

Show-off.... Angry ...you and your gorgeous weather and all. laugh

I could sit on just about any bench and people watch. And enjoy a Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich while chillin' clapping

And now I intend to steal campbell's bench now too biggrin

My husband and I have found all sorts of hidden away spots to sit and relax. All the parks seem to have a few little hideaways here and there. At Epcot Japan seems to have a few great places to sit and relax. I reccomend going yourself and exploring the area to find them.

The Plaza Rose Garden. I love the gorgeous array of roses and the music they play in the background.

Well, I used to smoke (ex-smoker now, will be 3 yrs this month clapping ) So back then I would've said the smoking area in the UK pavilion @ Epcot...I dont even think it is a smoking spot anymore.

Now, it just depends were we are....I like to chill out by the pools, reading, or sitting at the pool bars wink

And if we're staying @ AKLV, the balcony suits us just fine...Well, we like most balconies really, but if it's got a view, thats even better.

Ha! That's true, Mase. But do you get to use it much? What's your day usually like, and do you and Jess rest in the park with the kids? Do you have favorite spots?

Honestly... the last time we had a Savannah view was our first year at AKL. We have had a pool view the past couple years. We usually dont stay out late because the kids dont get a nap, so were in after dinner usually and thats anywhere from 7:30pm to 8pm. So We have used the balcony quite a bit... especially when we had a Savannah view. When we go to the parks... its usually no rest. Well... I take that back... we rest on the bus... lol. But yeah... we dont have a "spot" I guess because were moving non-stop unless were on the bus.... even eating is pretty quick.

Any bench! People watching is one of our favorite things to do. I know some people would want to sneak away from the hustle and bustle but not this girl. I love being in the middle of it.

My favorite benches have to be the ones on Hollywood Blvd at the studios. You never know when the Streetmosphere might show up.

There is a nice (usually private) sitting area around the corner from the line for Space Mountain. Most times we stop there, we are the only ones there.

We usually go in the off season so Tomorrowland Noodle Station is usually closed. My favorite spot to chill is the table area for the Noodle Station. It's shaded, rarely crowded, has bathrooms, and there's plenty of room for a little one to take a stroller nap.
