Oh to really know what they are thinking? Well we have an idea but to really know. Well maybe not because maybe they would be banished from looking out.

Thought you might want an update on Mama Morning Dove and her babies. We had a heck of a storm last night, the trees were swaying, four big ones came down in town. But Mama sat steadfast on her little nest and protected her babies. Today I checked on them again and Mama was off and 2 babies were poking their heads out I didn't want to get too close so these are slightly out of focus as I was doing contortions to try to get above the nest to look down in.
Excellent photos MM! Those doves sure are cute! I think they are my favorite bird in fact.
They are so cute the only birds we seem to get in England are pigeons and seagulls and neither can be described as pretty!!!
Beautiful Pictures!
So cute! We've got a robin's nest on top of the pole of our clothes line. It's too high up to see anything though
Mama keeps coming back to check on her "babies" , she is in the middle, but they are growing fast!
I expect it won't be long till they can fly away... I'll miss them but am glad they have adapted so well.
Thanks Jan.....I checked on the nest last night.....empty! The Babies have flown off......
