Our Disney World vacation video montage

When on vacation at Disney World, I tend to take a lot of photos and small amount of video. The video I do take usually ends up on my hard drive and rarely viewed. I was thinking, who else could I share these with but fellow WDW enthusiasts. So, I took some of the clips I have and put together a short video of some random moments from our vacations at the World.

I didn't bother putting a soundtrack over top or adding special effects etc. Just a "you're there" view with the sound as recorded at the time.

That was fantastic thanks for sharing and for me my most favourite thing about the whole film was the sounds that you hear for example the Epcot part where they were bringing the world out and you could here the sounds from china just really took me to a happy place thanks!!!

Enjoyed that Ken..Cheers..I tend to film quite a bit and our holiday DVD usually lasts between 2 to 3 hours, but I narrate all thro it, almost like a documentary..LOL..Last visit I was waiting for our Stitch wake up call one morning and my DW and DS were still fast asleep..I had the phone on loudspeaker and filming but whispering at the same time..When it went off, both of them jumped up at the same time..I was in stitches ( pun intended ) but got some snarling looks from both wife and son.. stars

Great video! Makes you really appreciate the little things that make WDW the great place that is. At the same time, you also mourn a bit for the things that were lost like River Country. I enjoyed seeing all the various perspectives. My only complaint...I wish it was longer!

Thanks for your kind comments everyone! I do have more video so maybe I'll put together a longer version. During our next trip, I'm going to try shooting more ambient video.

One thing that strikes me about WDW is that it can be as chaotic/loud or as quiet/tranquil as you like and the video hopefully conveyed that somewhat. That's one of the things I love about the place.

Haha. No worries Eeyore. The River County footage was shot by me standing on a rock in the public area so I could see over the fence. We didn't actually go inside the fenced off area. I have no desire to be banned for life from my favourite place! biggrin

mickey Awesome! It is still pretty cool to see it. I remember going there as a kid...it was my favorite water park! I will see if I can dig up some old photos! It was actually a pretty water park in its day!

I remember camping at Fort Wilderness back in December 1981 with my family and wanting so badly to go to River Country, but it was too cold - I believe it was closed.

Speaking of River Country, mrhub posted a cool video of it on the following link:

Very cool!

Thanks Jan! I had not viewed that thread lately and did not know that video was up! It is the best video of the water park. Brings back many, many memories. It was my favorite water park....but, it's kinda dirty to think I swam in there! Yuck! lol
