Our Disney World photo collection

Hi folks,

I just want to share a link to a gallery I've put together that houses all of our photos from our trips to the World so far. I've posted some of them in two trip reports here, but this is our entire collection including the trips previous to our joining the forum. My first trip to Disney World was in 2010 and I sure didn't expect to get hooked on the place like I did!

It's interesting to look back even just a couple of years ago when construction hadn't yet started at Downtown Disney and they were just building the new Fantasyland at MK.

You've got some great photos Ken. I love seeing everyone else's pictures - we may have seen the same things, but we haven't "seen" the same things. A different angle, or perspective, changes the entire photo.

That's a great point!

I guess that's why photos are usually so interesting is as you say, you can take multiple photos of the same thing and they will always look slightly different.

Thanks, MrHub! It's a pay site called SmugMug that I just started using instead of Photobucket. The package I got is $60 per year (or you can do monthly for $8) but they have different packages (starting at $40 per year). There are higher priced ones too for pros who want to sell their work for a profit.

The thing I really like is that you can customize your site like crazy with user friendly tools. Plus you can use a custom URL if you want as well. Lots of cool features.

I just love the pictures and I like others never get tired of looking at Disney pictures. You have some great shots...love the Owl especially as that is one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Kathys! That owl was a "hoot". Seriously, it was neat to see him up close. I think they're beautiful birds.

I just found my pics from the 2010 trip. This was my first trip to the World! I remember not knowing what to expect. But after that trip, I was hooked.

The 2010 gallery has been added.

Thank you Eeyore! Please check out all the other galleries for sure. We were in Europe in Oct/Nov 2013. I attended a work related conference in Vienna and we have great friends that live in Frankfurt so we went to both places. Had an absolutely wonderful time. Europe is awesome!

I'm uploading another gallery right now from our trip to Greece in 2007. That was an amazing trip!

Like the pics, Ken...In fact, we may have 'crossed' paths during your September 2013 trip as I was there possibly at the same time (that is, if you were there during the latter half of the month). Some of your pics look eerily like some I took so we must have had the same idea about composition at different times!

We were there the first week of September actually. It's a great month to visit WDW as you know.

My daughter and I were at DW in Nov 2013 and viewed some of your trip photos before we went. They actually inspired me to dig out my instruction book for my little point and click camera and at least try and get a better idea of how to use it. I like looking at Tom Bricker's photos on his blog but I never feel I could even get close to what he takes. But yours just make me want to take pictures and they make me realize I need to take so many more. We are going again this Nov and after looking at some of these galleries, I am determined to do a better job at capturing our trip. Thank you so much for sharing.
