Last time we were at the World, we decided to visit one of the "famous" flea markets. Wow, what a bust! Did we miss something or are the flea markets like the electronics stores you find in NYC and other places with all the cheap imports? Maybe I don't know what a flea market is?
What was your experience?!? I'm a fan of flea markets; would love to hear what was bad about it.
Also, I didn't know Florida was famous for flea markets...is there a site about that?

I find more results for "Flea Markets" searching on Google for most other states. Maybe Florida's flea markets aren't as popular as advertised?
The flea markets in Orlando suck. The one in Sanford is better. My favorite flea market is actually in Pompano beach called festival fleamarket.
We went to the flea markets on I-92 last week and they are pretty crappy.
Lots of junk. I actually didn't buy anything for the first time in my life visiting a flea market. Too much cheap knock offs. Not even good fakes.
Now Festival is different. If you venture down to Ft. Lauderdale check it out.

Sanford airport is around an hour away.
