So apparently no more Foie Gras on the menu. The whole force feeding thing always sounded kind of awful to me. What do you guys think?

I don't eat veal or foie gras, just because it seems overtly cruel. I know that plenty of other awful things happen in the name of meat-production, but I'd like to at least have the position that things that are cruel on the surface don't get my vote. Maybe it will help encourage people to use more responsible methods of raising animals. (Or maybe I'm just a hypocrite)
OMG! I had no idea that's how they made it! I'm appalled.

I'm not sure, but I don't think it HAS to be made that way. I just think the finances are going to be better if you get 10x as much organ per bird.
That's good news. Nobody really likes that stuff anyway, do they?

Organ foods are rarely my thing.
