Food at Be Our Guest Restaurant

I am really anxious to see what they do with the theming and food choices at the new Be Our Guest restaurant, as well as Gaston's Tavern. What would you like to see on the menus? It's hard to imagine a tavern with no beer, but I bet they come up with some "butterbeer"-type thing. What do you think?

Let's make some suggestions that will get the Disney chefs thinking! mickey

Crepes would be a good thing to serve with the counter service menu. Heck, they would work for the dessert during the table service hours too.

In the artist's rendition of the restaurant, they have a guy pushing a cart with Lumiere. I hope they have this. I love seeing Remy at Chefs de France.

I've never been thrilled with the food offerings in the Magic Kingdom. I'm hoping this restaurant will offer more upscale food choices.

Have you tried Liberty Tree Tavern? That's hands-down my favorite there. Lunch or dinner is great.

Crepes will be a great idea. I also like the idea of having some "beer type" drinks, I would think that is a must!

Yes but since alcoholic beverages of any type are banned in the MK they would have to come up with some sort of "imitation" beer. Probably much like the butterbeer alternative served at HP at Universal Studios. But knowing Disney, it would have to be very different than ButterBeer.

Id rather keep the alcohol out of the MK anyway. Seen alot of over indulgence of alcohol lately in the parks, maybe its just because we have been going more often, but its not a pretty site there.

Ha - fabulous suggestions! The crepes and general leaning toward French cuisine is what I hope for, too. And I agree, Mr. Hub. It will be tricky to come up with good alternatives, but I like the fact that MK is alcohol-free.

Oh, that's what I meant, something like ButterBeer (But I hope it's not too similar). I like that MK has no alcohol.

Okay, I know I'm the odd man out, but I always forget that there's no wine and try to order a glass in the MK. I would love it if one place at least sold beer & wine. But I think that place should probably be the Castle.
