Just wanted to toss this out there. There are currently stories floating around the internet that Fort Wilderness is being closed for good after damage from hurricane Irma. This is just NOT true. It was just a clickbait article from a website that does no research of their own and doesn't really understand the company. Sites like that give us all a bad name
After speaking with Disney representatives yesterday I was told that Fort Wilderness, and the restaurants associated with it will be back in service on September 18th, 2017.
