French Quarter Question

I was wondering what everybody here thought about the French Quarter. I know it is small, ect. but compared to other moderate resorts is it a good choice? Thanks for any commentary! mickey

We really love the French Quarter. The grounds are lush, the theme is fun, the rooms just got refurbished, the pool is fun. We like it so much we'll be staying there for our third time in April (2008, 2010, and 2012).

I've got a few pictures from our 2008 trip posted here if you want to check them out:

And a few from our 2010 trip:

We haven't stayed, but we visited the resort a couple of weeks ago, and I am completely in love! FQ is on my list of "must stays" in the very near future. If you end up booking, let us know what you think!

We stayed there last May. The rooms had just been refurbished. They were just beautiful and the beds were sooo comfortable. So glad they upgraded the beds now to queen size. My husband is totally in love with this resort! While, Riverside is still my fave, this was great! It is small but that's nice. There was only one stop for the buses. The longest we had to wait was 5 min. We didn't have to pick up or drop off anyone from Riverside. The resort has gorgeous landscaping, buildings look so authentic. My kids loved the pool, especially the sea serpent slide and the arcade. Food court was small but fine for us.

You will not be disappointed. It is a wonderful place to stay for your vacation.

We have kiddoes too, and I absolutely LOVED the playground in the square! It was fantastic! And sooo pretty.

I'm a huge fan of the FQ. My husband and I have stayed their twice, and one of those times was for our honeymoon. You can't go wrong with the FQ in my opinion!

This was the first resort we ever stayed at. Just me and my 2 children. We loved the theme and the pool. The food was fantastic and we loved taking the boat to downtown disney. One of our favourite moments was when the regular boat was full and a cm showed up in a party boat and offered to take us and one other couple. On the way to downtown disney he told us all sorts of wonderful stories and experiences he had on the water way.
