Full Schedule for Magic Kingdom's "One More Disney Day" Announced! Who's going?

The full schedule for Magic Kingdom's "One More Disney Day" has been announced! Will anyone be there next week?

I imagine it will be really crowded, but it would be neat to say "I was there! I was riding POTC at 4am!".

I won't be there! Sad, sad.. my work BFF (who quit this year so she's really not my work BFF anymore) went down with her friends to run in the marathon and they are going on leap day! I can't wait to see all of her pictures. I bet it is going to be awesome!

I leave for 5 days 4 nights on Tuesday!! I want to be on Space Mountain at 3am, Haunted Mansion at 4am, Peter Pan at 5am! I am SO excited. Another site still shows it as being a low crowd week.

I am hoping that because school is still in session, it won't be that crowded.

I wish I was going to be there! I would be so exhausted by the end that I would need to sleep for days, but it would be well worth it!

We are taking the day off Thursday...the plan is to come home after school Weds. and sleep a bit, then get the kids to bed (they're older and put themselves to bed), and leave around 10:00pm to spend the night at MK. If we leave MK by 5:00am, we can be back to get the kids to school and sleep all day Thursday. I am nervous because I really need my sleep and am unbearable when I am tired. Who knows when we might be able to do this again, so it's time to be young and wild again! Lots and lots of caffeine should do the trick. I may even try a 5 hr energy drink, I've never had one. It's like our big adventure, I'm excited, it's so unlike us, we are very boring. Schedule and routine are important to us so this is pretty crazy and I am a little anxious too.

This morning was great..not busy until around 10am. Rode all the major rides AND had breakfast at Crystal Palace before 10am.

I am back at my hotel room now, chilling, until I go back tonight for over night festivities. I wrecked my shins and ankles walking all over AK and Epcot last night so I am resting up and taking it easy right now.

That's terrific! I wanted to go sooooo badly today! But alas, too much work and other stuff prevented it. Can't wait to hear about all the neat experiences y'all get to have!

There was a special opening park ceremony at 5:50 am Smile There will be an Electric Light Parade at midnight. There's also supposed to be a 5:45 am show of Memories on the Castle with pictures they're taking from Today.

I had an AWESOME time. I met some new people from another board at night and we just had a blast.

Disney didn't plan on the crowds, they expected a low turn out and both parks were swamped. My friend in CA texted me that by 10pm Disneyland had reached cap and closed the gates. MK never reached cap, but man it got crowded!

At MK, during the day it wasn't that busy. A little crowded, but bearable. People really wanted to be in the park overnight. There was no mass exodus after the fireworks. In fact, there seemed be even more people coming in at that time. The park was jammed until at least 4 in the morning. There was a dance party in the hub from around 2am to 5am with the street party floats (the ones that look like big presents) parked around the hub. I know I saw Goofy and Daisy Duck dancing at one point. The 5:30 Memories show on the castle was moderately attended, but I was actually shopping at the time, so I didn't watch the show.

Rumor has it that if they do this again next leap year, it will be a ticketed event. At which point I will be 50.. and NOT doing this again! My feet can't handle it!

My friend was there for this. At first I was jealous but she said it was so crowded she could hardly move and they ended up leaving before midnight. They went early in the morning with the kids when it was less crowded so the kids got to do everything...they were just hoping to be able to do it all again overnight without the kids but couldn't take the crowds. Mickey and Minnie were dressed up in jammies.. I thought they were so cute....Here's a pic my friend took
