We often people watch. We have talked with other people in line - we got to talk to a really cute little girl in the world for her fifth birthday while we were waiting at Philharmagic last time. When we told her we were on our honeymoon she wanted to see Caitie's ring and hear about our wedding. It was very cute.
Zipadeedoodah -- yeah, man
We usually like to play "whine about how long this line is and why we got into this line in the first place." Which isn't a very fun game.
Seriously, though, I do like to explore the queue lines because they're getting so much BETTER these days. I wonder what took them so long to start themeing the queue lines. Sometimes I almost WANT to wait in line so I can see all the themeing.

Oh, we will beat the best at the whining game!

People watching can be fun. We often discuss where to go and what to do next or where to go for dinner.
I can only please one person per day. Today isn't your day... tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Talking about food is always a fun past time with us!
We also really do like looking at all the little details of the line, or just taking a breather. Sometimes we're running around the parks so fast that we don't have time to just relax and remember where we are and how much we love it.
we spy for hidden cameras...techno-dorks R us...
I also usually go with family that I havent seen in awhile so we play catch up...believe me..spending 10 days with family you havent seen in a long time...there are funny stories that come up!

I think it really kind of freaked me out when I realized how common those cameras are. I'm not sure why I thought it would be any other way. I usually look for them more on rides that in line. Any interesting ones you've ever caught? Maybe we should start a "take a picture of a hidden camera" thread.

That's a fun idea! I once rode backwards on the TTA PeopleMover Wedway and was shocked by how many cameras there are. They're every few feet!

I've noticed that on the TTA/PeopleMover/WEDWay as well. I wonder if all the rides are that monitored, or if it's the darkness that makes them need so many cameras.
Don't just people watch..people listen.
We have heard some CRAZY comments from people over the years. A few have stuck with us and we say randomly to each other every once and awhile. My favorite..riding on the bus from POP to AK..we passed the Dolphin Resort..Sterotypical New Jersey dude behind us belted out this one liner..."That doesn't even look like a dolphin..it looks like a fish!"
This was about seven years ago.
Another favorite: "I talked your father into this trip & I am not going to let your chemical imbalance ruin it for us". (Mother to her three year old daughter)
