F&W Opening Weekend Booked!

F&W Opening Weekend Booked!

Hubs surprised me by booking two nights at CBR for opening weekend of Epcot's International Food and Wine Fest! I'm so psyched. Since I'm running in the Wine and Dine Half Marathon, and we had planned to attend the event's after party (I got DH his own ticket for his birthday), this super beats driving home at 3 in the morning. The plan is to arrive early on Sat, Oct 1 - just in case there's anything going on for the WDW 40th celebration - then go to the Fitness Expo to pick up my race packet...then NAP! and get ready for the race without thinking of traffic, delays, where to park, etc, etc! My mom will come down and bring the kiddoes on Sunday. I plan to attend at least one fan meet up on Sunday while DH and kiddoes hang at the CBR pool (finally! We'll be there when it's not too cold to swim!)

Other hightlights of the weekend will, I'm pretty sure, include a trip to the Earl of Sandwich, and a breakfast of zebra domes!

Can't wait to share with y'all about the after party. It looks like they've really made some improvements over last year, and we're really excited about all the F&W booths they'll have opened.

Can't wait!

It came up, sudden-like! It's a real relief, though. I was nervous about having to drag ourselves home after the race. Now we just have to drag ourselves across the street-ish! Lots and LOTS of pics. I promise!
