I just signed Donna and I up for the 'Give a Day, Get a Disney Day' volunteer program for next year. Anybody else done this? Anybody have any more information about it?

I read a little about it recently, but I probably don't have any more
information than you do. From what I read, you get a Disney day for a day
volunteered to help others. I think that's one of the coolest promotions
they've had. Disney has a list of approved organizations to choose from.

Does anyone know if Annual Passholders can get perks, too? I'm happy to volunteer without them, but it'd be great to get something extra like AP holders did with the birthday promo.

The list of places or things to volunteer for doesn't come out until January 1st... unless I read the information wrong....

An Update: Due to the overwhelming response to this, the Disney program has about crashed. They say they are working on it. Apparently, it got so bad they lost registration information. I had to start the process all over. But I did get us on the list to volunteer at the South Carolina Aquarium. That should be fun!

That sounds great! (Not the crashing system, but the Aquarium volunteering!)
