Good Morning!

Hi everyone I'm CJ from Hillsboro, Missouri. My husband and I are 39 with 3 boys, guess that's pretty obvious, and we love Disney. We stayed on site last year at Port Orleans Riverside for our son's 16th Birthday and had such a blast that we decided to do it again this year, same dates and everything for his 17th birthday. We have been many times but never stayed on the grounds before, I did once as a child, and we will never stay anywhere else but on site again. This year we are staying at the Beach Club Resort and I'm hoping to not fall in love with because then we'll have to go more often (ha ha)! My 2 older boys love Hollywood Studios, my husband and I love Epcot and my youngest loves the Mexico Ride so we thought this puts us in the best place. If anyone has stayed here let me know your thoughts we only have 49 days until we are back in the magic and we are all so excited, it's been a long rough winter and it's time for some fun in the sun!

Beach Club is awesome. You're going to love it! You can walk to Epcot in about 5 minutes and you're right in World Showcase, which is the best part in my opinion. 49 days is nothing! So jealous! Are all your plans set? ADRs, etc?

Hi and welcome! I've stayed at Beach Club before and it's pretty great. The location is perfect..right there walking distance to World Showcase, and a short boat ride on over to Hollywood Studios. The Beach Club has an AWESOME pool with a pirate ship water slide, so be sure to plan some time for swimming! Visit the Beaches and Cream ice cream shop and try the Kitchen Sink! I'm sure your boys can finish it all on their own!

Thanks, one of the deciding factors in choosing this over the Contemporary was the Pirate Ship at the pool, my youngest loves ships and pirates, so perfect. This year we are definately planning on some down time at the pool, can't wait! We really want to try the kitchen sink, is it is as awesome as I think it's going to be?

Any other new things you're hoping to try while you're there?

My 14 y/o and I are going to try the Tower of Terror, no one else will go with him, so I have volunteered, I am a little scared I must say. Believe it or not we have never made it on Splash Mountain in all the times we have been to MK so that is a must do for us this time. I really want to go on the Rock N Roller Coaster, the boys love it, but my husband and I haven't been or youngest has autism so it's sometimes hard for him to let go of us so we can ride things if he hears his brothers talking about the ride. I think that those are the biggest things we hope to go on this time and of course we really want to relax at this amazing looking pool at the resort, something we never seem to do on vacation.

You will love it. I made my parents go on it with me when I was a kid, and they said they wouldnt go on it again (even though my Mom did go on it with me this past trip) but there glad they did because of the very cool special effects in it. Its a very cool ride.
