Ut oh, any mention of when it will reopen? I'm going to be there in early October, and the original reopening date was end of September. Yikes.

Kris, Touring Plans still lists it as 9/25 so you should be safe!

I got DRENCHED on this ride in April and was really wet for hours! Front seat = Kali River wet! Just FYI!

That happened when my mom and I went last May too. We were SOAKED! I had no idea! One of the CMs told us that there are special "water boosters" they turn on sometimes.

Sadly, this will be closed when we go. I'm heartbroken! One of my most favorite rides!

We learned about this on the Keys to the Kingdom tour. A couple of years ago they changed the boats to fiber glass because the original boats couldn't support the growing size of the population and the boats had started getting stuck on the floor of the ride because of too much weight in the boats. The new fiber glass boats create a big splash at the end of the drop. After we were told this we went and rode the ride and our tour group was "nice" enough to save the front row for us! We got soaked!
