Greetings from the North East!!!!

Hi Everyone!!!

I am so happy to find this website. I am not very good at computers so you will have to be patient with me as I figure it out. I am very proud that I even figured out how to register!

Anyways...
I LOVE disney. My favorite thing to do ever is to watch disney travel tv shows and documentarys. there is one on disney weddings that I think Ive seen a dozen times. If I wasnt already happily married I would spend my wedding at disney.

I am saving up for a trip with with my husband and it will be the first time without the kids! I am so excited to do everything that I want to do. Any advise for couple activities? We really like staying active.

Look forward to hearing from you soon and I am glad to be a part of The Happiest Place on Earth!

Welcome! Glad you found us. How exciting that you are starting to plan your first trip without kids. You are in for such a treat. There are so many fun things to do without the kids. The one thing I would suggest looking into is one of the Segway tours. We just did one for the first time on our last trip and we both loved it.
Can not wait to hear more of your plans for this trip such as where you will stay, when are you planning to go, and where will you be eating.

Congratualations and welcome! We're glad you found us, and we all agree that you'll have a great time, kids or no. When is your trip planned? Do you know details like resort or ADRs yet?

My tip is pretty basic: enjoy dinner at one of the signature restaurants while not wrestling with kids! Such great food at Disney. Even a character dining experience with just you and Hubby will be so much fun!

Awww thank you everyone for welcoming me!!! muchlove

I have really gotten into sushi so I think either my first or last night will be at Dragon Court.

I try and eat really healthy so I am worried about finding good restaurants. I can also be a bit of a food snob. No fast food for me. Any suggestions?

My front runner for hotels is Bay Lake Tower. Has anybody stayed there?

Oh and I am from Connecticut Smile

Wolfgang Puck's at Downtown Disney used to offer sushi - some of the best I've had. If they still do, I recommend it.

You can find lots of market fresh food on property, and many faster and convenient foods that aren't fast food, per se. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. For a fast and good sandwich, try the Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney. There are many places that offer grab and go healthy foods, like fruit (whole and cut up) milk, and bottled water. I believe The Wave offers some good, healthy breakfast options as well. And Mr. Hub already suggested one of my favorite restaurants - the California Grill. I also like the counter service in Japan at Epcot - Yakitori House, I think? It's got some healthy options and an awesome unsweetened green tea. Others swear by the Tangierine Cafe in Morocco. I hear it's wonderful, although I haven't had the pleasure. And for pure options - many healthy - Sunshine Seasons Food Court at Epcot is a good choice. Hope this helps.
