Work with me, People! Help me see the BRIGHT side! biggrin Because yesterday, when we ran over to that side of town for lunch at EoS, then stops at Mall at Millennia and Whole Foods on the way back, I must have said to DH about 12x "When we get our new passes...this" and "when we get our new passes...that." It's going to be quite the little celebration, let me tell ya. I'm thinking we'll have them back for all the new Fantasyland stuff (if I don't breakdown and get them before...)

How long are you planning on going without????

We went every year for about five years (sometimes twice a year!) and now we haven't been since June of 2008. It's been our longest drought and I am READY..even though going with Holden so young scares me a little bit..but it will be fine..right??

I've worked for the Company for 13 years and I'm not even Disney-ed out. What I get tired of are all the obnoxious people that the parks seem to attract lol. I TRY to put myself in their shoes--a vacation at WDW or even a DAY at DL can be QUITE pricey, so they're just trying to get as much in as they can because who knows when they get back.. but.. still lol..
it's like I say at work "my job would be perfect if it werent for the kids and people" lol.. but it's not Disney I get tired of!

My trip to WDW last October, I was there 7 nights.. came home, and went to DL 3 nights with only 1 night in between!
the funniest thing was first walking in to DL and seeing Sleeping Beauty Castle.. awww weewahhh so tiny Sad

JP - I'd say if you're ridiculous, then you're in might good company here mickey

And thanks for that. I'm clearly looking forward to my next visits...so I guess I'm not Disney-ed out after all.

First, you'll be fine with Holden, I promise! You have the added support of DH (I'm usually DH-less in the parks) so you'll be able to the baby swap pass thing to get around the ride issue. Plus you're staying on property, so you'll have the luxury of going back to the room when anyone needs a break. PLUS - now you know about the Baby Care Centers, so that will help, too! And it's just about the baby-friendliest place on the planet, so you don't have to worry about that, either!

As far as how long we'll go...it will probably be a couple of years, but maybe not that long. I figure if we're going to give them up, we should wait to get them back 'til all of the FL stuff is done. But who knows what kinds of incentives they'll come up with? We were set to give them up last year when they rolled out the "renew and we'll give you an extra 3 months." Absolutely could NOT pass that up.

I have a family member who was an original WDW CM - still works there. It may be time to give him a call Smile
