Hello to all at WDWFG!

Hello everyone!, I'm Scrappy's DH. Had to sign up for this site when she told me about it. We have been WDW fans for a years. We have at least 16 trips to WDW under our belt and are counting the days till #17 in January. I think we have now been there more times without our children then with them. Looking forward to talking to everybody and sharing tips about "The Most Magical place on earth!

Hello bali & dsoup and thanks for the welcome. Yes, it seem like our kind of site. I think we will fit right in. Just to give you some insight to how big a fans we are to Disney, we moved into a new house about 6 years ago and the first room my DW (scrappy) planned out was our first floor powder room which is total Mickey Mouse theme, down to the custom sink and faucets, the mickey heads for handles on the vanity, & the entire decore is mickey down to the Pal Mickey sitting on the shelf with the WDW bars of soap! Every room in our house has a Mickey in it somewhere.

Welcome to both you and Scrappy. It's nice to have other couples on board as thats the way we travel. An insight from both sides at the same place is always a great way to tell a story.

And I love the Mickey's all over the house...we're working on it. Just trying to figure out how to do hidden Mickey's so Donna has to look for them!

Oh Solo, its not just the bathroom. We have Mickey everywhere!, My Bar room is pretty much stocked with Disney glass ware. The Bathroom Down stairs has a Disney puzzle we did together that is framed and hanging in there. For X-mas we have our Mickey tree, which is nothing but, and I mean nothing but disney ornaments & lights. I have the train from Disney that goes under the tree, (dog tries to eat that ). Of course the cars have the Mickey antenna toppers and I have a "Doom Buggy" license plate on the front. Disney pretty much abounds in our household.

Well we are planning to take our sons and their wifes and our one granddaughter next years, and were hoping to go in the fall when it was cooler. But now it looks like we may have to go in June. God I hate the heat, We were just there in Sept and it was nasty!. There would be 7 of us total. We were looking into getting a treehouse , SSR is our home resort, but scrappy is checking out some other options.

Oh my. That's fairly obsessed. At least people know what to get you for the holidays, right? Anything with a Disney character on it! laugh

That sounds like a great time! We've been in June when it hasn't been all that bad...

Would you all stick together the whole time, or break up into families for park touring?

Don't know Spaceace. I think we will pretty much stay together most of the time, but me and Scrappy are we will probaly be the baby sitters if the granddaughter gets cranky, and take her back to the resort and let the kids have some alone time in the parks. That way we can cool down, maybe hit the pools , which we have never done, and do some really good spoiling of the baby! Ha Ha Ha!!!!.
We ended up getting three Standard view rooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. There were no 3 bedroom villas available for a whole week and we didn't want to change rooms mid week.

Hey all, just checking in to say hello. I have not posted for a while and heard someone was concerned. I have to admit I have been hooked on a new game online and have been playing it quite often. Hope everyone is well. I'll be on more with our trip coming up in a few weeks.
