Hello Everyone!!!!

Hello Everyone!!!!

What an awesome site, lots of great info here and great people as well.

We are taking our daughter (18) as her graduation present and we wanted a fall trip so we planned it during her college fall break in Oct. Trip is all booked, dinner reservations have been made and we are all excited to be able to go again. I have been able to take her 2 other times over the course of her life 5 and again 15, not as much as I'd liked but it just makes the times we go that much more special. Staying at the All Star Movie Resort, Deluxe Dining Plan..

She told me she will let me take her pic like this "one more time Dad!" mickey They grow up so quick. Enjoy them while you can

welcome

What a great graduation present! Lucky girl Smile

I took my 19 year old daughter (her brother and sister got to come too) for her Birthday in May and we had a wonderful time! Is there anything that she's looking forward to most? Is there anything you're looking forward to most?

My wife and I havent been together so this is our 1st time we will be looking at some of the nicer resorts for our stay in a few years.

Thanks so much... Here is the list from our spread sheet..
Leaving out of Nashville Oct 6th arriving in Orlando around noonish..Taking the Magical Express(We had a great bus driver in 09')
Heres our list of reservations made...Dinner's are done and just one breakfast and lunch..Figure we will wing it for the rest of unless someone has some suggestions. awesome

Breakfast.......
Monday 7:30AM Boma(AK)

Lunch............
Sunday 11:55am Crystal Palace(MK)

Dinner............
Saturday 8:00PM Spirit Of Aloha Dinner Show (Polynesian)
Sunday 5:15PM The Wave(Contemporary)
Monday 8:10PM Monday Sci-Fi Movie Theater(Studios)
Tuesday 5:45PM House of Blues (Downtown Disney West Side)
Wednesday 4:20PM Coral Reef (EPCOT)
Thursday 5:00PM Cape May Cafe (Disney Beach Club Resort) Epcot -walk or boat ride

We are looking at some of the tours...Wife and I want to the "Seeds" at Epcot and my daughter wants to do one of the MK behind the scenes..
I wanted to go to the Halloween Parade but I just cant justify the additional ticket price. I figured I can drink a lot of different beers for that price. lol...My wife and daughter dont care either way about it. So I guess I just pass this time.

Any suggestions please post away!

Got a few suggestions for you, (and just suggestions) Ohana @ the polynesian, Earl of Sandwich @ downtown Disney, Cali Grill @ the Contemporary, HoopDeeDoo review @ Ft. Wilderness, and my personal favorite Turf Club @ Saratoga Springs Resort, Whispering Canyon @ Wilderness Lodge. And beleive me MNSSHP IS worth the price of admission.

HI and welcome! I don't see any ADRs for Animal Kingdom. I would suggest either Tusker House or Yak & Yeti.

right on man, the mnsshp is worth it just for the fact of the smaller lines for the rides

Welcome to the site! I'm another newbie as of yesterday.

Suggestions: Kona Island Sushi Bar at the Poly, Yak & Yeti at AK, Hacienda de San Angel at Epcot (time the reservation so you'll be there for the fireworks and try to get a window seat)

I think the MNSSHP tickets are worth it at least just once. After many years I gave in and went to MVMCP and loved it. The parade was great and the fireworks were absolutely amazing! I haven't been to MNSSHP, but from what I've heard it's fantastic. They dress the park up for the party. There is a villains show and meet & greet. You can wear costumes and trick or treat around the park. And the coolest sounding thing is seeing the Headless Horseman ride across the park.

Welcome, Troy W! I love the pics of your daughter, and I can't wait to hear all about your trip! I hope you have a fantastic time! You may also be there during the Food and Wine Fest at Epcot, which you will absolutely love (if you haven't had the pleasure before.)

Here's a little info about it, in case you'd like to read about it:

Troy W - Welcome!

The re-enacted pictures are GREAT....she'll be so happy to have them when she's older, and that you insisted she do the crazy hands on the head pose each time!

I agree about the MNSSHP---it's just a really neat experience that you won't get any other place! And the headless horseman is WAY cool, and the fireworks are AMAZING.

I would agree that Kona Cafe, Yak and Yeti are fabulous! And Sanaa at AKL is fantastic, AND you get to experience the fabulousness that is the Animal Kingdom Lodge!! Smile

Y'all are gonna have a fantastic time!!
